Since I wrote to the company in Mid-June, accepting the general grades pay offer on behalf of TSSA members the company has confirmed this week that RMT had also accepted the offer. Merseyrail have therefore confirmed that all grades (General and Management) will receive their pay uplift backdated to their relevant anniversary date in your pay due on the 2nd of September.
IT and Transformation
In a recent consultation to change some of the roles in the IT and Transformation team the company proposed to introduce on call working for those concerned. In the course of these negotiates TSSA were able to negotiate clarity on the workings of the on-call process and also more than double the on-call rate that was being offered originally by the company. We put this to a vote of our members, and they unanimously agreed to accept the proposals.
