TSSA members vote for strike action at Southeastern

Today our Union's members at Southeastern have voted YES to strike action and YES to action short of strike.
A whopping 73.9% voted YES to strike and 85.1% voted YES to action short of strike action. This will send a strong message to Southeastern bosses that we need action on pay, job security and terms and conditions.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote in this important ballot. This is the latest in a string of of successful ballots among TSSA members in the current industry-wide dispute over pay, job security and terms and conditions.
We are sending a powerful signal that we deserve better than to see jobs cut, pay frozen, conditions threatened and the safe running of railway put at risk.
We are liaising closely with our brothers and sisters in other rail unions RMT and ASLEF and are engaging with your TSSA reps about next steps and action.
We have not served notice for strike dates yet, but rest assured we will keep you updated on all developments.
Please speak to your TSSA reps for more information, and thank you again for taking part in this important ballot.
