TPE: 2026 pay referendum outcomes
Thank you to all our members who recently voted on the 2026 Pay offer.
We carried out several votes to cover the respective collective bargaining groups but also we felt it only fair to give those members who sit outside collective bargaining to have a say as well and guard against a situation where they might be offered less. I have displayed the outcomes of the votes in alphabetical order below: General Grades, 100% voted to Accept, 0% to Reject, Accepted Non-Collective Bargaining population, 95% voted to Accept, 5% to Reject, Accepted Ops Managers, 100% voted to Accept, 0% to Reject, Accepted Revenue Protection, 95% voted to Accept, 5% to Reject, Accepted Ops Managers, 25% voted to Accept, 75% to Reject, Rejected
Clearly for those within the TRU Customer Delivery bargaining unit, particularly Customer Delivery Managers there is concern that they are one of the, if not the lowest paid role in the business and that by restricting their payrise to include the real living wage increase the company and the Dft are making a conscious decision to suppress their wages and maintain this position in perpetuity. Furthermore, for those non collectively bargained staff who were asked “If the company offer Non-Collectively Bargained staff less than the 3.6% on offer to collectively bargained grades would you be”: 71.88% voted to say “Unhappy and willing to be balloted for industrial action”. Hopefully this will not be an issue going forward but we will keep a watching brief. I will write back to the company outlining our position on the various grades, pay offers and feedback in terms of their response. In the meantime, we are stronger together, please speak to your colleagues about joining TSSA to help us continue to deliver for members, they can do this easily online at www.tssa.org.uk/join |
