    This is to make All TSSA members in GWR aware that given the recent interest in Union learning representative positions and the expressions of interest received we will be running a formal nomination process for the vacancies that exist.

  2. GWR: Stations Representation

    Tony Price, long standing TSSA representative has recently retired and I wish to send both my thanks to him and my hope that he has a long happy retirement. Tony has been involved both locally (Gloucester), on StationsÂ’ Divisional Council and Company Council for a very long time. His efforts representing stations grade members particularly in booking offices over has been vital in seeking to preserve and improve the working environment, as well as the terms and conditions for you and your colleagues, over the last few decades.

  3. GWR: Secondments terminated early

    TSSA has been made aware that in recent months members who have been on an agreed secondment or temporary post within the company for a predefined period of time have had these terminated early by GWR. This circular is to make members aware of their potential rights and to critically consider whether to accept what they have been advised by the company.

There are many concerns that members and reps have been raising and we have been attempting to resolve these over the last few weeks at the relevant forums within GWR, so I especially thank your TSSA representatives for being ever vigilant on your behalf.
