TPE: Outcome of Operational Management Representatives Election

In a historic first for TPE Driver Managers, Operational Development Managers and the Driver Operations Manager post. TSSA members have been able to choose which TSSA members represent them in the new collective bargaining agreement under the newly formed Operational Management Company Council.

I am pleased to announce that the nomination period that closed at 12 noon on Tuesday 8^th April led to us receiving one valid nomination for each of the constituencies outlined below, as there were no seats that were contested, all of the candidates are elected unopposed.

Details of the constituencies and the successful TSSA representatives are below:

All the reps will have a 3-year term of office and will be entitled to receive paid release to undertake trade union training and carry out their duties.

TSSA Organiser, Alan Valentine, has written to the company to notify them of the elections and request dates for the first Operational Management company council meeting.

If ordinary members can consider what items they want their reps to raise on the agenda of that first meeting and have a conversation with their constituency representative.
