E-Mix Reloaded auditor vacancy

E-Mix represents Black, Asian and other Ethnic minorities for all members and levels within TSSA and is seeking an auditor to work with the group's Treasurer.

The SOG campaigns on black and ethnic minority issues - proposing motions to the TSSA Executive Committee for discussion at the Labour Party and TUC.

In this role you would act as second signatory to the Treasurer and provide the independent inspection of the group’s financial records, to ensure they are correct.

The auditor would be a full member of the SOG, be expected to attend the group’s meetings and participate in discussions and decision making. E-Mix meets on a monthly basis, though we understand that it may not be possible to attend every meeting, due to work and other commitments.

A financial qualification is not required, but we are looking for someone who is of an ethnic background, and who is both reliable and conscientious.

Members should submit their expressions of interest by noon on 12 October. The applications will be considered by E-Mix at their next meeting and a successful candidate agreed upon, by vote if necessary.
