    15 November 2017

Following a request to negotiate with Iarnród Éireann management at the Labour Court on Thursday TSSA is balloting its members over the recommendation reached for a no-strings-attached deal of 2.5% pay rise for three years starting on the 1st December 2017 and an agreement to continue future engagement over the company’s performance and productivity priorities without it affecting the pay rise. Also as part of the deal in recognition of the fact that staff have not had a pay rise for nine years is a one off €500 voucher for all staff.

  5. Industrial Action in Iarnród Éireann for 7 November to go ahead

    6 November 2017

We are disappointed that we have yet to hear anything constructive from either management or the Department. Your CEO wrote directly to staff calling on a return to the labour court, unfortunately this is a call without substance. Your CEO needs to take responsibility for his own actions, collapsing talks and looking for the labour court to resolve the issue shows either ignorance of how the court operates or contempt for how the court operates.
