TPE: Revenue Nomination results – Election Needed

Nomination process outcome

I’m glad that there has been so much interest in the Tri annual Company Council and Health & Safety Representative elections. Thank you to those that have stood to be representative and to those who have nominated their fellow members as reps, it really is important that you engage with the process and ensure your reps are accountable to you.

We set a nomination deadline of noon on Thursday 25/06/2026 (see my previous communication here) this was for the following positions:

2 x Company Council Representatives

1 x Health & Safety Representative

I received the following valid nominations laid out in alphabetical order by surname below:

Revenue Protection Company council Seats (x2):

Gideon Chimponda (Election needed)

Paul Nuttall (Election needed)

Andrew Pickard (Election needed)

Revenue Protection Health & Safety Seat (x1):

Paul Nuttall (Elected unopposed)

Election Needed

Therefore, I will need to run an election for the 2 positions of Company Council Representatives, but the Health & Safety seat is filled unopposed.

Congratulations to Paul on his election as the Health & Safety representative.

I will now ask the 3 candidates above to write and email me an election statement as per below by 9am on Monday 6^th of July following that date I will write out to members on how they vote on who they want to stand for the company council seats. Members will be able to vote for a maximum of 2 candidates.

Election Statement

Election Statements should be sent to valentinea@tssa.org.uk, consisting of no more than 200 words, along with an email address that you are happy for members to contact you on if they wish to ask you questions about why you are running to be a representative or anything else related to the election. Name Job title and email address will not count towards the 200 words. If Statements are longer than 200 words then only the first 200 words will be included within the election communication to members.

Election statements should be sent as above by 09:00 on Monday 6^th July

Please remember that only TSSA members will be able to vote in any election so if you have colleagues who are not currently TSSA members then they need to join asap so that they can vote and have say in who their elected reps are, they can join online at www.tssa.org.uk/join
