Company Council
TSSA has six seats on the TfL Company Council. The next largest unions have only two each. This is the forum for discussing matters that affect all staff in bands 1-3, such as company policies, pay talks, reorganisations.

LCG - 1
TfL holds ‘local consultative group’ meetings. As the name implies, these are local groups in which we discuss collective matters like departmental Viewpoint results, patterns in HR cases etc. TSSA is the only union that has recognition in every LCG. LCG1 - (CCT, Tech & Data, Finance, SHE)

Health and Safety Representatives
Our Health and Safety reps work alongside our industrial relations reps to make sure the needs and wellbeing of our members are taken into account at an early stage when changes at work are being considered or proposed.

Bands 1-3
TSSA has the most reps of any union in TfL, and is the only union with recognition in all areas of the business. Our reps for staff bands 1-3 are listed below.

Senior Managers
TSSA is the only union that is recognised to represent senior managers in pay bands 4 and 5. There are regular ‘senior manager consultation forum’ meetings. TSSA is the only union that is invited to attend these meetings.
TSSA Organisers
While TSSA is a member-led union, paid staff are employed to administer and support the lay organisation, to negotiate on behalf of members, and to organise and recruit in the industries where we have members.
