Overview
The Transport for London (TfL) staff pension scheme is under scrutiny. Find out about what’s happening, what this means for scheme members, and how TSSA is representing members through this process.
The review of the pension fund was a requirement made by the UK Government as a condition for financial support provided to TfL through the coronavirus pandemic.
The Fund is highly regarded by its members with virtually all of TfL and London Underground employees contributing, along with TfL and LU as employers.
The current scheme is healthy, sustainable and is in surplus. TSSA is opposed to increases to members’ contributions or any reduction in pension benefits.
