Modernising Maintenance Update 25 August 2022

Modernising Maintenance discussions (as part of the General Grades/Controllers pay and job security negotiations) have taken place throughout the week. Your TSSA negotiating team held meetings with Network Rail on Tuesday, Wednesday and today (Thursday). 

Although there is still some distance to go, your negotiating team is of the view that some positive progress has been made. 

Minutes from the meetings are currently being agreed. Once they are agreed they will be made available for all to see. 

These are a detailed set of talks and there are still numerous areas left to discuss. We have more meetings booked in for the coming weeks. Our hope is that the progress we have seen this week will continue. We are committed to securing a negotiated settlement which addresses the key issues in the dispute, namely your job security, terms and conditions, and a fair pay rise.
