Network Rail Pay Talks Update 3 November 2022

General Grades, Bands 5-8, Controllers Dispute Negotiations

Our Union’s national reps have been involved in intensive talks with Network Rail all week in an effort to resolve our dispute over jobs, pay and terms & conditions.

Earlier this week, we reported that progress was being made and therefore we made the decision to suspend the planned industrial action as long as progress continued.
We can report that headway continues to be made on all elements in dispute and further intensive talks are scheduled.

We understand that many of you would like a more detailed report on where we are with securing a deal that we can put to referendum. We are at a sensitive point in some extremely complex negotiations, therefore issuing details of what is under discussion would not assist talks continuing.

Please be assured, once we secure a final offer, we will hold a referendum vote for members to decide on whether to accept or reject. Detailed explanation will be provided at this point and meetings will be held to answer your questions.

Thank you for your continued support.

In Solidarity,
